  2. 1.5 cups maida
  3. 1/4 tsp salt
  4. 2 tbsp oil
  5. 1/2 cup curd
  6. As needed Activated Yeast

  10. 1 tsp sugar
  11. 50 ml lukewarm water
  12. For filling
  13. 1 onion chopped
  14. 1 carrot grated
  15. 4-5 beans cut finely
  16. 1 small piece of cabbage chopped finely
  17. 1 capsicum cut into small squares
  18. 100 g paneer cut into small cubes
  19. as per taste Salt
  20. 1/2 tsp black pepper
  21. 2 tbsp tomato sauce
  22. 1 tbsp chilli sauce
  23. 1/2 tbsp soya sauce
  24. 1/2 tsp chicken masala
  25. 1.5 tbsp oil
  26. as required Sprinkle mixed herbs
  27. For calzone
  28. as required Soft dough
  29. Filling
  30. 4-5 tbsp Pizza sauce
  31. Blocks pizza cheese
  32. as required Sprinkle mixed herbs
  33. 5-6 tbsp butter

Steps to make to make Calzone

  1. You can bake it in oven or even without oven.
    Keeping the crust thick or thin depends upon your preference. I have done thick crust, baked in oven and thin crust baked without oven.
  2. In a mixing bowl, put 1.5 cups maida, add salt and mix. Next add the activated yeast and mix. Now add a tbsp of oil and mix. Next add curd and mix. Next add milk gradually and knead to make a soft dough. Brush oil and keep it for resting for an hour. Keep covered in a warm place. As the dough is rested, it doubles in size, take it knead again and divide it into 2 parts. One small for thin crust and one big for thick crust.
  3. Preheat the oven at 200 degrees for 10 minutes. Then roll out the dough. Spread the pizza sauce in the centre portions. Put prepared filling generously on one side.
  4. Put pizza cheese (you can grate and put too), sprinkle mixed herbs. Now fold it making a semi circle. Seal it by pressing or brush some water to seal.
  5. Next use a fork to make designs. Poke in centre for uniform baking.
  6. Now brush some butter on the baking tray.Also brush butter on the calzone. Place the calzone for baking. Bake it for 12 minutes. Check or else bake for 2-3 minutes more. Keep both oven rods on while baking.
  7. If you are baking without oven. Take a vessel, place a stand and preheat for 10 minutes. Take a baking plate, brush with butter. Place the calzone for baking. Brush butter on it. Bake for 15 minutes. Remove and check. Serve hot hot...the cheesy cheesy calzone...
  8. SERVE CALZONE WITH A MAYO DIP... ENJOY WITH COKE...
  9. For making filling
    Chop vegetables finely. Heat oil. Saute garlic till brownish.
  10. Add onion and continue sauteing. Add the vegetables, put salt, cover and cook. Add paneer cubes and mix. Next add tomato sauce, chili sauce, soya sauce, black pepper, sugar, chicken masala and mixed herbs. Mix all well.
